Communicate convincingly in English
You progress by leaps and bounds when you take a course at Regina Coeli. Because your language trainers give you 100% personalised attention, you learn exactly what you need. Moreover, you can practise in our unique e-learning environment and with fellow students from all over the world.
Before you book a training course, you have an intake interview with a trainer. In it, you discuss your goals and wishes, and also provide information about the situations in which you communicate in English so that you can practice those situations during your training. That way, you can put your improved English skills to use immediately after your course!

A course member about her English course
‘I really notice that I’m in a flow. Moreover, it’s wonderfully peaceful here, so I’m relaxed and can completely focus on the course.’

A pleasant place to learn
Language Institute Regina Coeli was founded by an international order of nuns, which is why we’re known as ‘the Nuns of Vught’. The lessons haven’t been taught by the sisters for some time now, but their influence can still be felt in things like the serene and structured learning environment.
We believe that people understand and appreciate each other more when they speak the same language. People’s effectiveness and the impact of organisations increase when they invest in speaking languages. That’s why many companies, but also the government and freelancers, choose to take language courses at Regina Coeli.
Due to COVID-19, we’ve set up our institute in such a way that you can maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from each other and from your trainers. We’ve also taken additional hygiene measures so you can attend your language course with peace of mind at our institute.

Your personal language training programme
At Regina Coeli you take your own, personal language course. You have an in-depth intake interview with a trainer before your course in which you discuss what shape your programme could take. You then receive a personal quotation. Only then do you make the final decision as to whether you would like to take a course with us. After you’ve booked your course, you can immediately get to work preparing in our online learning environment. That way, you can start off well-prepared.

Frequently asked questions about English courses at Regina Coeli
Will I have English lessons from nuns?
No, they don’t work at our institute anymore. You’ll be taught by highly-educated native speakers who now live in the Netherlands. They speak Dutch and often one or more other languages. Once you’ve booked, we match the language trainers on your team to your specific needs. This could be someone with experience in your field of expertise or from the country you deal with the most.
Is the training given in a cloister?
Most courses take place at our institute in Vught. It’s a modern building located where the cloister used to be.
It’s also possible to follow (parts of) your training online via face-to-face lessons. Other locations may also be possible if mutually agreed.
How is my programme composed?
Your trainers determine your programme based on your learning objectives and your proficiency levels. They also tailor the lessons to your daily practice as much as possible. You might decide to put extra time and effort into practising sales talks, speeches or even small talk.
When can I come to Regina Coeli?
You can usually come for a course within a few weeks. It depends on your needs and our waiting list. Would you like to know how long our current waiting list is? Call us on +31 (0)73 684 87 90.
What does an English course cost?
After your intake interview, you will receive a personal quote from us. You can find the per-day fees for language training on our fees page.
