In-company training

Learn a language at your own location

Would you like your employees to improve their language skills at your own location? Regina Coeli develops in-company training programmes that match your organisation’s working environment, learning goals and schedule.

Our language trainers work with small groups and focus the lessons on the situations in which participants actually use the language. This allows you to combine the convenience of training at your own location with the personal attention and quality of the Nuns of Vught.

In-company training is a good fit when you:

  • want to train several employees at the same location
  • want to combine lessons with their daily work
  • want to develop language skills over a longer period
  • want employees to practise regularly and apply what they have learned straight away
  • need a programme that matches specific roles, tasks or work situations
  • want to train either a small group or a larger number of employees.

In-company training does not follow one fixed format. We discuss the results you want to achieve and develop a programme that matches your needs.

What are the benefits of in-company training?

In-company training helps employees focus on the language skills they need in their daily work.

The training contributes to:

  • greater confidence in international communication
  • clearer conversations with clients, colleagues and partners
  • more professional emails, reports and presentations
  • better collaboration in international or multilingual teams
  • language skills that match specific roles and responsibilities
  • the immediate application of new skills in the workplace
  • long-term development through regular practice over an extended period.

Because the lessons take place within your own organisation, the language trainer and participants can easily use familiar situations from daily work.

A tailored programme

Before the training starts, we discuss what your organisation wants to achieve. We look at factors such as:

  • the number of participants
  • their language levels and any differences between them
  • shared and personal learning goals
  • the situations in which employees use the language
  • the preferred duration and intensity
  • the available days and times
  • the location and practical arrangements.

A language trainer then holds a personal intake interview with each participant. This gives us a clear picture of their starting level, work situation and individual learning goals.

Based on this information, we advise you on the group structure, lesson frequency and programme content.

From weekly lessons to intensive training programmes

Regina Coeli has experience with both small-scale and large in-company programmes.

1. A compact series of lessons

What is it? A small group of employees develops practical language skills step by step. These skills can be applied directly in their daily work.
Schedule One or two hours of lessons per week, spread over several weeks.
Who is it for?

This format is a good fit for participants who:

  • want to combine learning with their daily work
  • want to practise regularly
  • can apply what they learn between lessons
  • want to make progress at a steady pace
Content The lessons focus on familiar work situations, such as attending meetings, speaking with clients, making telephone calls, giving presentations and writing professionally.

2. An intensive programme for larger groups

Sometimes an organisation wants to help several employees reach a specific language level within a short period. This may be needed because of international growth, the opening of a new office, the arrival of international employees or a change in the main working language.

What is it? Several employees work towards a target language level within one structured programme.
Schedule Several lessons per week over a period of several weeks or months.
Approach

In an intensive programme, we can:

  • train larger numbers of participants
  • create several groups at different levels
  • guide beginners step by step towards a predefined level
  • involve different language trainers
  • combine lessons, self-study and practical assignments
  • monitor progress throughout the programme
Content A structured training programme that matches the organisation’s goals, field of work and schedule.

Your organisation’s daily work at the centre of the programme

During an in-company training programme, participants practise situations they experience in their own work.

These may include:

  • conversations with international clients
  • meetings and discussions
  • presentations
  • telephone communication
  • emails and reports
  • working in international teams
  • specialist language related to a specific role or sector.

Where relevant, we also focus on cultural differences. Participants learn not only what they can say, but also how communication may be interpreted in another language or culture.

The role of the language trainer

The language trainer not only teaches the lessons but also monitors the participants’ development. Based on observations and progress, the trainer can adjust the focus of the programme.

Several language trainers may be involved in larger programmes. They coordinate with each other on:

  • the content of the lessons
  • the progress of each group
  • shared learning goals
  • individual areas for improvement
  • the connection between different parts of the programme.

This helps us maintain consistent quality, even when several groups or trainers are involved.

In-company training price guide

The price of an in-company training programme depends on factors such as:

  • the number of participants
  • the number of groups
  • the length of the lessons
  • the duration of the programme
  • the location
  • the preparation and coordination required.

An example:
Five two-hour sessions for a group of five participants:
€590 per person, excluding travel expenses and VAT.

For larger or more intensive programmes, we prepare a tailored quote. The proposal clearly states which lessons, preparation, intake interviews and support are included.

Frequently asked questions about in-company training

Is in-company training always the best choice?
Not always. Training at your own location is practical and makes it possible to spread the learning over a longer period. At the same time, the daily working environment can create distractions. When rapid progress and complete focus are important, an intensive training programme at Regina Coeli in Vught may be a better fit. We would be happy to advise you on the location and format that are likely to deliver the best results.

How many participants is an in-company training programme suitable for?
In-company training can be provided for a small group or for a larger number of employees. For larger groups, we usually divide participants according to their language level, learning goals and work situations.

How large are the groups?
We prefer to work with groups of no more than five participants. This gives everyone enough opportunity to practise actively and receive personal feedback.

Can beginners take part in in-company training?
Yes. We can train complete beginners from the first level and guide them towards a predefined target as part of a longer programme. Whether the target is achievable depends on factors such as the available time, the intensity of the training and the amount of practice between lessons.

Can participants have different language levels?
Participants do not need to have exactly the same language level, as long as they can practise together effectively. If the differences are greater, we can create several groups or recommend a different training format.

How often do the lessons take place?
We decide this together. A programme may consist of one one-hour lesson per week or several intensive lesson blocks per week. The frequency depends on the desired result, the schedule and the participants’ availability.

How long does an in-company programme last?
The programme may range from a short series of lessons to an extensive training programme lasting several weeks or months. We advise you on the duration and intensity needed to achieve the desired result.

Which languages are available for in-company training?
Regina Coeli provides training in Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

How does the application process work?
During the first conversation, we discuss the reason for the training, the goals, the participants and your practical requirements. We then provide initial advice and a price indication.

Where necessary, we hold intake interviews with the participants. We then advise you on the group structure, content, frequency and duration of the programme. Based on this information, you receive a tailored proposal and quote.
