“Regina Coeli goes inside you”
“I work for an Italian company that sells street sweepers. One of our main suppliers is based in the Netherlands, so I wanted to improve my English to communicate better with them. They suggested I go to Regina Coeli in the Netherlands. I’m very happy I did.
Three weeks in Vught
I stayed in Vught for three weeks and followed an intensive English course. Before coming here, I had done some lessons in Italy. They said I was B2 level, but in real life, I didn’t feel confident at all. In Italy, it’s hard to practise English because nobody really speaks it.
At Regina Coeli, everything is one-to-one. That makes a big difference. My programme was a mix of grammar, business language and conversation—both formal and informal. In the third week, something clicked. Suddenly, I could use the grammar and vocabulary naturally in conversations.
International kitchen at Regina Coeli
I also learned more than just language. By living in the Netherlands for three weeks, I got to know the culture. I visited a few Dutch cities during the weekends, and I even tried some local food: broodje kroket, a Bossche Bol, and a kaassoufflé. I love good food, so I really enjoyed the international kitchen at Regina Coeli as well.
Now I even think in English
One of the best parts was the people. I met so many different types of professionals, all there to learn. And I had a great connection with my language trainer, Richard. I’ll miss working with him.
For three weeks, Regina Coeli was my home. I was listening to English all the time, and now, I sometimes even think in English. It’s more than just a course, it’s an experience that stays with you. Regina Coeli really goes inside you.”
