Language training for organisations

Help employees communicate confidently across language and cultural boundaries

Do your employees work with international customers, colleagues or partners? Is your organisation preparing to enter a new market? Or would you like employees to feel more confident during conversations, presentations and written communication in another language?

Regina Coeli develops business language training programmes that match your organisation, work situations and learning goals. We listen to your needs, assess the situation and recommend an approach that delivers the best results for both the participants and the organisation. Discuss your training needs with us >

When is business language training valuable?

Language training can help employees and teams when they:

  • regularly communicate with international customers, colleagues or partners
  • need more confidence during conversations, meetings or presentations
  • want to write more professional emails, reports and proposals
  • want to work more effectively in international or multilingual teams
  • are preparing for a new role, market or responsibility
  • want to deal more effectively with cultural differences in communication

The training does not focus on general language skills. It focuses on the situations in which employees actually use the language. This means they can apply what they learn directly in their work.

Targeted language training contributes to:

  • employees who communicate with greater confidence
  • clearer communication with customers, colleagues and partners
  • more professional conversations, presentations and correspondence
  • better cooperation within international teams
  • language skills that match employees’ roles and responsibilities
  • more consistent language use across the organisation

Together, we choose the best approach

Every organisation has different needs. That is why we do not start with a standard programme. We start with a conversation.

We discuss topics such as:

  • the reason for the training and the desired result
  • the number of employees taking part
  • the situations in which they use the language
  • whether they have shared or individual learning goals
  • the participants’ current language levels
  • the time available
  • whether the training should also support cooperation or team building
  • practical preferences concerning the location and schedule

A language trainer then holds a personal intake interview with each participant. This gives us a clear understanding of their language level, work situation and individual learning goals.

Based on this information, we recommend the most suitable training format, intensity and programme structure. You will then receive a proposal that meets both the practical and learning needs of your organisation.

Choose the format that suits you

Whichever format you choose, you will always benefit from our proven method and lasting results for your organisation.

Learn effectively, as a team and individually

Group training is most effective when participants have a similar language level, shared goals and the same working environment. Are there major differences between the participants? Individual training or a combination of individual and group lessons, such as Team Training Plus, may then deliver better results.

Team training is a good choice when… Individual training may be a better choice when…
Level participants have a similar language level participants’ language levels differ greatly
Learning goals the team is working towards a shared goal participants mainly have personal or specialised learning goals
Work situations colleagues have similar tasks and responsibilities the situations in which colleagues use the language differ greatly
Learning pace participants can learn at a similar pace one or more participants need more time, deeper study or additional challenges
Personal attention group practice and feedback meet the participants’ needs intensive individual guidance is needed to improve personal areas of focus

Why organisations choose Regina Coeli

1. A programme that reflects real work situations
Participants practise situations they experience in their daily work. This makes the training relevant and immediately useful.

2. Personal attention
Even during a team programme, we consider the learning goals and areas of focus of every participant. Everyone receives the guidance they need to make progress.

3. Different language trainers
Participants work with several language trainers. This helps them become familiar with different voices, accents and communication styles.

4. Complete focus in Vught
During training at our language institute, participants can step away from phone calls, meetings and daily responsibilities. The fixed rhythm of lessons, review activities and practice sessions helps them remain fully focused on the language.

5. Attention to both language and culture
International communication is not only about words and grammar. Differences in directness, feedback, social conventions and expectations can also affect cooperation. Where relevant, we include these cultural aspects in the training.

6. Experience and quality
Regina Coeli has provided intensive language training for more than sixty years. Our approach combines personal attention, expert guidance and a learning environment designed entirely around focus and results. Many people know us as ‘the Nuns of Vught’ because our institute developed from a religious teaching congregation.

7. Ten languages
Regina Coeli provides language training in: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Frequently asked questions

Can you help us decide which training programme we need?
Yes. You do not need to know in advance whether individual training, team training, an online programme or in-company training is the best option. We discuss your goals, participants and practical requirements. We then recommend a suitable approach.

Can employees with different language levels train together?
Yes, as long as the differences in level do not affect the shared learning process. When the differences are greater, we can create several groups, offer Team Training Plus or recommend individual programmes.

How large can a group be?
We prefer to work with groups of no more than five participants during lessons. This gives everyone enough opportunity to practise actively and receive personal feedback. Would you like to train a larger number of employees? We can create several groups based on factors such as language level, learning goals and work situation. An in-company programme can therefore also be used to train larger numbers of employees.

Can several employees follow individual training programmes?
Yes. Each employee can follow their own individual programme, possibly on the same training days. This gives every participant a personal programme while still allowing them to meet each other during informal moments.

Can employees from different departments take part together?
Yes, provided that the participants have sufficiently similar goals, language levels or work situations. During the intake process, we assess whether training together will be effective.

What happens after we submit an enquiry?
During the first conversation, we discuss the reason for the training, the goals, the participants and the practical requirements. Based on this information, we provide initial advice and a price indication. Once you agree with the general approach, we arrange intake interviews with the participants where needed. We then recommend the final training format and prepare the programme, quotation and schedule.

How far in advance should we request training?
This depends on the language, the number of participants, the preferred training format and the available dates. We therefore recommend contacting us as early as possible, especially when several employees need to train during the same period.
