Each trainer brings their own background to the table – from years of experience in German business to expertise in specific fields. At Regina Coeli, you will follow a German course that is fully tailored to your learning goals, level and schedule. You can start whenever it suits you. You can make a no-obligation reservation or book by telephone. During that conversation, we will also schedule your intake with a language trainer.
Your personal learning goals are central
Before starting your course, you will have an intake interview with one of our native German language trainers. This interview usually takes place online, but it can also be done in person in Vught. During the intake, we will discuss your goals, your current level and the context in which you will be using German – such as for business, social occasions, or a combination of both.
If possible, part of the conversation will be in German to determine your starting level. Whether you want to take a German course for beginners, work towards a B2 level or perfect your business German, together we will determine which training format suits you best:

Flexible planning

What a training day in Vught looks like
The daily schedule
- Morning & afternoon: Two lesson blocks with a language trainer, interspersed with self-study and assignments.
- Monday: Meet & Greet: get to know the other students.
- Tuesday & Thursday morning: Yoga class for a fresh start.
- Tuesday & Thursday evening: Group activity and language table. Practise speaking German in an informal setting.
- Friday: Drinks to end the week and another opportunity to speak German.
Whichever day you join, your German course will be fully tailored to your goals and schedule. This way, you will learn German quickly and effectively, exactly as you need it.

Regina Coeli stems from an international order of nuns, and in the past, those nuns gave the lessons. That’s why we’re also known as ‘the Nuns of Vught’.

How is my German course tailored to my needs?

How long do courses take?
You decide that together with your trainer. Intensive courses vary from one day to a full week. Online and hybrid courses can be spread over several weeks or months. This ensures that your training always fits in with your schedule and learning style.
Can I also train in a group?

How much can you learn in a short period of time?
You can make great strides. Many participants say that they learn more in five days at Regina Coeli than they did during their years at school. This is due to our intensive and fully personalised approach. With hybrid and online programmes, you achieve the same lasting results, but at a more relaxed pace.
Where do the lessons take place?
Our institute is located on the grounds of a former convent. The modern building still exudes the peace and space that are so characteristic of our learning environment. You can follow all or some your training here or opt for online lessons instead.
Do I have to stay overnight at Regina Coeli?
No, that is not mandatory. Many students do choose to stay on site, as it allows them to focus more and enhances the learning process. We offer comfortable guest accommodation and alternative accommodation with a taxi service.
