Your learning goals are key
Before starting your course, you will have an intake interview with one of our language trainers. This can be done online or in person. During this intake, we will discuss your goals, current level and preferences. The trainer will help you make the best choices for you even if you are not yet sure which type of course suits you best.
The intake consists of:
- A personal introduction
- Level assessment (including a short conversation in French)
- Advice on your learning journey
Flexibility
For intensive courses, we recommend scheduling them over consecutive days for optimal learning flow. If this is not possible, you can spread the lessons out. This guarantees the course will always fit your schedule.
What a training day in Vught looks like
The daily schedule
- Morning & afternoon: Two lesson blocks with a language trainer, interspersed with self-study and assignments.
- Monday: Meet & Greet: get to know the other students.
- Tuesday & Thursday morning: Yoga class for a fresh start.
- Tuesday & Thursday evening: Group activity and language table. Practise speaking French in an informal setting.
- Friday: Drinks to end the week and another opportunity to speak French.
Whichever day you join, your French course will be fully tailored to your goals and schedule. This way, you will learn French quickly and effectively, exactly as you need it.

Which course format suits me best?
This depends on your goals, schedule and learning style. During the intake, you will discuss what suits you best. You can choose between intensive courses in Vught, flexible online one-to-one lessons or a combination of both. All programmes are personalised, goal-oriented and tailored to you.
Are online courses as effective as intensive ones?
The content and guidance are just as personal, but the process is different. In intensive courses, you work towards quick results in a short period of time, while online lessons allow you to learn at your own pace, often alongside work or study. This means the pace is slower, but the results are just as lasting.
Can I start with online lessons and come to Vught later?
Certainly. You can build up your programme gradually: start with online sessions and come for extra training days in Vught later. Alternatively, you can opt for a hybrid programme right away, and plan both from the start. We are happy to work to your schedule and learning needs.
How are courses put together?
We map out your learning goals, background and level in the intake. Together with a language trainer, you put together a course that suits you in terms of content, pace and format.
What is the level of the French course?
Your level! Our courses are suitable for everyone: from beginners who can hardly speak any French to advanced learners who want to communicate more confidently. During the intake interview, we determine your current level and where you want to go. We then put together a course tailored precisely to your level.

All our trainers are native speakers from France or Wallonia. They have extensive experience in training professionals, and a wide variety of professional backgrounds, so we'll find a team who can get you where you need to be.
