Intake interview: the basis for your learning programme
Prior to your course, you will have an intake with an English language trainer. This can be onTeams or in person. During this intake, we will map out your learning goals, preferences and current language level. You will discuss which type of course best suits your situation. Part of the intake will be conducted in English to get a good idea of your level.
Training in Vught: peace, focus and depth
Have you opted for lessons on location? Then you will stay in a peaceful, inspiring environment dedicated to learning. You will follow a personalised course with one-to-one lessons and group activities, such as language tables and a Meet & Greet. Overnight accommodation is available too so you can stay immersed in the language and culture.
Online or hybrid training: learn at your own pace
With online courses, you work one-to-one with a language trainer onTeams, when it suits your schedule. In hybrid programmes, you combine the intensity of lessons in Vught with the flexibility of online sessions.

What a training day in Vught looks like
- Morning & afternoon: Two lesson blocks with a language trainer, interspersed with self-study and assignments.
- Monday: Meet & Greet: get to know the other students.
- Tuesday & Thursday morning: Yoga class for a fresh start.
- Tuesday & Thursday evening: Group activity and language table. Practise speaking English in an informal setting.
- Friday: Drinks to end the week and another opportunity to speak English.

I already speak English well. Is the course still useful?
Especially so! You will learn how to take your English to the next level with more nuance, conviction and confidence. You can hone your language skills for presentations, negotiations and international meetings, but we provide a lot more besides. Book an intake to learn more.
Do I have to come to Vught for a course?
You can, but you don't have to. You can opt for intensive course in Vught, fully online lessons or a combination of both. We will determine what best suits your goals, schedule and learning style in an intake.
How quickly will I speak English fluently?
You will already notice improvements in your communication skills in just a few days. The amount of time it takes depends on your current level and what you want to achieve. During the intake, we will make a realistic assessment of your learning path.
How do I know what my level is?
In the intake, the language trainer will have a short conversation with you in English and discuss the results of the language test. This allows us to determine your level based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
What will my lesson programme look like?
All our courses fully tailored to your learning goals, level and context. You decide what your programme will consist of with your language trainers. For example, you may work on improving your emails, giving convincing presentations or conducting spontaneous conversations. Everything you learn can be applied immediately.
When can I start?

Can I prepare for IELTS or Cambridge exams with you?
Yes, you can. During your intake, please indicate that you want to prepare for a specific exam. We will then tailor your training accordingly.
Can I also take English courses in a group?
We provide team training on location in Vught, online or in-company. All courses are fully tailored to the goals of the team and the organisation.

Language Institute Regina Coeli was founded by an international order of nuns, which is why we’re known as ‘the Nuns of Vught’. The lessons haven’t been taught by the sisters for some time now, but their influence can still be felt in things like the serene and structured learning environment.
