Method: developed by the nuns

Most people know Regina Coeli as ‘the Nuns of Vught’. That is because our language institute was founded by a monastic order that had been teaching girls for generations. What far fewer people know is that the method we still use today was developed by those same nuns.

The nuns knew that the quickest way to learn a language is to tailor the lessons to the student. The idea behind this is that everyone learns in their own way and has their own goals. The sisters also found it important to create a welcoming environment. That was done by ensuring good interaction between students and trainers while also creating an environment in which students can fully focus on their learning process.
