"I am originally from Trier, a city on Moselle river that is over 2,000 years old. After studying tourism in Germany, gaining work experience in international companies and studying to become a German teacher in the Netherlands, I settled at Regina Coeli. Here, I can perfectly combine my experience in the business world with my passion for teaching. It is truly ideal!
It is only since I stopped living in Germany that I have realised how important language actually is. My culture is also rooted in the German language; it is a big part of who I am.
I think it is important that students feel comfortable and safe in the classroom. I try to put myself in their shoes and understand what they need in order to learn in a pleasant and effective way.
Because every student has their own way of learning, it is always a challenge to provide tailor-made lessons. That makes teaching at Regina Coeli dynamic and fun.
I encourage my students to continue actively using the language after the training. If you keep using it, the language comes to life."
