Face-to-face lessons temporarily suspended

16 March 2020
door Regina Coeli

As a precautionary measure related to the corona virus, we are temporarily suspending face-to-face lessons. The language institute in Vught will be closed to course members for the time being. However, we are continuing online!

From the comfort of your own home, you are still able to learn another language in online face-to-face lessons with your language trainer. In this way, we can offer you the flexibility that is necessary at this time, as well as the quality you expect from Regina Coeli. Read more about our offer >

Online lessons and intakes will go ahead according to the existing schedule.

We will make contact with each course member who has booked a course for weeks 13 and 14, in order to discuss alternatives.

You will still be able to contact Regina Coeli. However, as most of our employees will be working from home, the best way to contact us is via one of the online forms. After we have received the form, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book a language course at Regina Coeli now, despite the current closure?

Yes, you can request and follow a language course now. The intake with the language trainer will be done by telephone or Skype. Then, in line with our normal booking process, you will receive a written offer, specifying the details of your language course. Thereafter, you can start our 'blended learning' programme straight away.

What does ‘blended learning’ mean?
It means that, at a temporarily lower rate, you can have a series of online lessons with your language trainer(s). As soon as Regina Coeli reopens, you can continue the remainder of your language course at our institute.

If you would like to follow your entire training course at our institute in Vught, then, subject to certain conditions, we are able to schedule a training course for you.

I have booked a language course, but I am worried about the Coronavirus. Do you have a cancellation option in these circumstances?

Yes, you can reschedule your course to a later date, free of charge. If you would like to start your language course sooner rather than later, you can also follow a 'blended learning' programme. You will then have a series of online lessons with our language trainer(s) and will be given exercises to do in our online learning environment. Later, you will follow a shorter language course at our institute. The length of your language course at our institute depends on the number of lessons you have already taken online.

Is it possible for me to follow a language course online, given we are required to stay indoors as much as possible and given that the institute is currently closed?

Yes, of course! We offer a ‘blended learning’ programme, which is a combination of individual online lessons and practice using our online learning platform. Over the next few days, more information about this will be available on our website.
