Tatjana van Merwijk was born and raised in Uzbekistan, where she studied music and Russian language studies. She worked as a freelancer in Moscow and has been working in the Netherlands since 1995. Besides giving Russian lessons, she also teaches Dutch, is an interpreter/translator and is a piano teacher.
‘The pronunciation of Russian and its complicated grammar make it a difficult language to learn. At Regina Coeli, we teach on an individual basis, and we fully adapt the lesson materials to the student. Our strength lies in being able to adjust to a student’s learning style, the context in which they work and the progress they make during their training. In this way, everyone can learn the language.’
